Estonian CRM provider Pipedrive has acquired the Latvian email marketing automation service Mailigen. The companies plan to spend the next few months working on product integration. This is the first acquisition in the history of Pipedrive. The main idea of ​​the purchase is to integrate Mailigen solutions for e-marketing into Pipedrive CRM. Both Pipedrive and Mailigen were founded in the Baltic states in 2010 and have come a long way since then. Mailigen has raised a modest funding of 295K euros and currently employs 22 people at its headquarters in Riga. This office will now become Pipedrive's development center, specializing in email marketing, and it will be led by Mailigen CEO and co-founder Janis Rosenblatts.
