2026. Ahrefs now lets you monitor your brands on Reddit and TikTok

SEO service Ahrefs has updated its Brand Radar tool, which allows you to monitor mentions of your products or brand in the social web. It now includes TikTok, so you can see where your brand appears in high-traffic videos. The service scans descriptions and transcripts of videos and displays only those fragments where the brand is actually mentioned, without unnecessary noise. The developers have also added a new Reddit search results index, which shows how visible your brand is in Reddit search results on Google. It works similarly to the visibility index in AI chats, but instead of scanning AI responses, the service scans Reddit titles, descriptions, and subreddit names that appear in search results snippets. This helps understand how Reddit influences discovery and decision-making in search results.
2021. Social media marketing service Postoplan raised $550K

Estonian service Postoplan is an automated marketing platform for social media, messengers and Google My Business. It allows you to create, schedule posts, and promote content on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn and more. The service supports an unlimited number of accounts, users and projects. According to its own data, over 30,000 professionals and companies in 147 countries use the service. The service offers a free plan and a VIP plan with unlimited planning, the ability to post up to 500 posts per month, and other advanced features. The paid version starts at $5.99 for 15 days.
2019. Social media scanner YouScan adds virtual assistant Aina

In the near future, all leading SaaS services will likely get their own AI assistants that will learn from users and automate some human (intellectual) tasks. The social media monitoring service YouScan already has such an assistant – Aina. Although it can't yet speak or understand language, it independently monitors brand mention statistics on social media and, if there is a spike, it automatically identifies the main source of discussions, keywords, message type, and region, and sends the user a ready-made report. It also compares your brand mention activity with general trends and warns of stagnation. You can train Aina by clicking a button in its notifications – whether a message was helpful or not.
2018. New Channel Connection Options in YouScan: Google Maps and Other Improvements

The "Channels" feature in YouScan allows to monitor mentions based on "everything that appears on a specific page", rather than keywords. For example, this could be an influencer's page, a brand's official public page, a thematic group, or a specific geolocation. A number of new features have now been added to "Channels." If the link you want to add contains multiple possible channels, you can select which ones you want to connect. For example, you can choose to only include mentions of a certain Facebook account without monitoring posts from that account, or vice versa. You can determine the depth of historical data collection you want for each specific channel. When you add a channel, mentions from it for the last month are collected, but you can extend this period to up to a year or choose not to collect historical data. For some brands, the number of reviews on Google Maps can exceed the number of reviews on all other sources combined. We now have review monitoring enabled on Google Maps.
2013. Adobe Social can now monitor Instagram and LinkedIn
Adobe Social is a system for managing a company's presence on social networks. It is part of the Adobe Marketing Cloud suite of applications for marketers. Adobe Social is considered a market leader and in terms of functionality surpasses, for example, the popular Salesforce's Social.com service. In particular, Social.com supports only Facebook and Twitter, and Adobe Social also supports Google+, and now LinkedIn, Instagram, FourSquare, and Flickr. Moreover, in the case of Facebook, Twitter, Google+, and LinkedIn, the Adobe system allows not only to monitor user comments, but also to post responses and updates centrally from the control panel. Adobe Social is a solution for large companies. Prices start at $35,000 per year.
2012. BPMonline CRM and Terrasoft CRM to monitor social networks

Terrasoft has integrated its CRM products (Terrasoft CRM and BPMonline CRM) with the professional social media monitoring system YouScan. YouScan tracks mentions of brands, products, and competitors on blogs, forums, and social media (Facebook, VKontakte, Twitter, YouTube). The integration allows you to transfer consumer reviews found using YouScan to the Terrasoft information system with a single click. For example, after seeing a customer complaint in the YouScan mention stream, an SMM manager can send it to the Terrasoft or BPMonline platform, where it will appear as an incident that needs to be resolved by the support team. A question or positive review from a customer interested in a product or service can be sent from YouScan to the information system as a new "lead," which the sales department will then continue to work with.
2012. Adobe and SAP launching social media monitoring tools

Is your company still not monitoring social networks for mentioning of your brands and products? Look, even SAP and Adobe (that historically were developing the very different kinds of enterprise software) decided to release tools for monitoring the Social web. Adobe Social (according to the developers) unlike its competitors allows to measure the results of marketing campaigns in social networks not by the number of Likes and comments, but in real income. And the SAP HANA Social enables to process the huge amounts of data from the social media in real time for sentiment analysis. Both solutions are designed "for existing customers", i.e. for users of Adobe Digital Marketing Suite and SAP CRM respectively. Recall also that in June, Oracle acquired the social monitoring service Collective Intellect. And of course, IBM and Salesforce are already providing this kind of tools: IBM Cognos Consumer Insight and Radian6.
2012. Commun.it - CRM for Twitter

Social networks become more and more important for business, and IT vendors invent new innovative solutions that help companies to use social networks. We have already talked a lot about tools that allow to monitor social networks (for mentions of your company or products), pull information from social profiles to CRM, Helpdesk and Email, centrally post messages to social networks and measure their marketing impact. And the new service Commun.it provides a tool that helps to develop relationships with Twitter users (just like CRM helps to develop relationships with clients). In Commun.it you can analyze your followers, identify the most influential bloggers, get acquainted with them, monitor their activities and messages about your company (and respond to them in them), view the history of your communication with those bloggers (to learn more about them and engage them in retweeting your posts). ***
2011. #OccupyTheEnterprise vs KLM Surprise: what will you choose?
Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff can use any news or events for his marketing purposes. In his latest speeches, Mark is talking about the well-known social movement Occupy Wall Street. As you know, this demonstration was organized mainly via the social networks, and in particular thank to the Twitter hashtag #OccupyWallStreet. "Look, what social networks can do" - says Benioff - "they can overthrow governments. And they also can easily destroy your business. Ignoring social networks - is ignoring your customers." Benioff has launched his own Twitter hashtag #OccupyTheEnterprise and scares enterprises with it. And from the other hand, he cites the example of using social networks by the Salesforce client - KLM airlines. ***
2009. Jive SBS connects the corporate community with the social web

Jive, one of the leaders in the social software market, has unveiled the Jive Market Engagement module. Jive SBS core system already included an internal corporate social network integrated with its own customer community. Now, a third component has been added – a system that integrates all of this with external social networks. Jive didn't develop this module itself, but used an existing solution, Radian6. This system can listen to conversations about the company and its products on Twitter, Facebook, Google alerts, any blogs, forums, photo and video sites with communities, RSS feeds, and even email conversations. It also allows you to answer calls directly from the user interface and generates analytical reports on company and product mentions on social media.
