2025. Tilda updated its Online Store Orders section



Popular website builder Tilda now wants to capture market share in online store builders. They recently launched a personal account for online store buyers, and have now upgraded the Orders section for sellers. The section's interface has become more user-friendly and intuitive. The Orders table can be customized: you can choose which fields to display and which to hide. The detailed order view has also been updated—the design has become more modern, information is now displayed in two columns, making it easier to use. Orders can be highlighted with an asterisk and colors; when this happens, the request is marked as read, and the entire line is colored the selected color. You can add a label to the order, such as "in progress" or "processed," and comments.

Shopify has added an AI-powered store builder that lets create simple storefronts with a prompt. To use the tool, you enter a description of your desired store in natural language. The AI ​​then generates a ready-made storefront, and the user can manually customize the store in the editor. You can also use the AI ​​generator to create graphic elements (such as banners). Shopify has also updated Sidekick, its AI assistant for merchants, with voice chat and screen sharing capabilities. A new free template called "Horizon" includes built-in AI that helps merchants customize their designs.

2022. Bitrix24 implemented website transfer between accounts



From now, migrating website created in one Bitrix24 account to another is very easy – the developers have implemented an automatic import/export function. You simply save the website to a ZIP archive in one account and restore it in the other. Please note that open channels, widgets, CRM forms, and Market applications are not exported. After the website is migrated, you will need to reconnect and configure them. When importing a website to a new Bitrix24 account, it is automatically assigned an address. To use your own domain, unlink the domain from the exported website in the first account and reconnect it in the second.


2021. Mozello has improved its content management and added support for digital products.


Latvian online website builder Mozello has rolled out an update that the developers are calling the largest in the service's history. Among other things, it features new content block styles and methods for adding them, content block personalization, customization of the main menu and footer style and support for SVG images. The online store engine now features a "Product Block" for displaying recommendations, support for the sale of digital goods and files, new delivery, payment, and ordering options, integration with payment processing platforms (Klix by Citadele, Kevin, SEB, BlueOrange) and integration with Google Analytics 4. Automattic has released a major update to its WordPress mobile app for Android, which allows to manage website from smartphone. Last year, app users faced a growing gap between the features available to self-hosted sites and those available on WordPress.com paid service. The lack of a WP REST API in the app's core prevented them from using the same site management features that WordPress.com site owners already enjoy. The upcoming release closes this gap with improved support for Jetpack-based sites. Jetpack is a universal WordPress plugin developed by Automattic to attract users of the open-source CMS to its paid service. Self-hosted WordPress site owners will now have access to user management and site settings features within the app. Completely redesigned network layer ensures faster performance of statistics and other features. The app also enables adding new blog posts and pages, commenting, moderating comments, replying to comments.
