2025. Tilda updated its Online Store Orders section



Popular website builder Tilda now wants to capture market share in online store builders. They recently launched a personal account for online store buyers, and have now upgraded the Orders section for sellers. The section's interface has become more user-friendly and intuitive. The Orders table can be customized: you can choose which fields to display and which to hide. The detailed order view has also been updated—the design has become more modern, information is now displayed in two columns, making it easier to use. Specifically, the detailed status of its submission to connected external services is now displayed. Orders can be highlighted with an asterisk and colors; when this happens, the request is marked as read, and the entire line is colored the selected color. You can add a label to the order, such as "in progress" or "processed," and comments.


2024. Site.pro now allows you to send website forms to Telegram.



Lithuanian website and online store builder Site.pro has implemented an integration that allows you to send completed forms and questionnaires from website directly to Telegram chat. Email with a link to the website admin panel is typically used for this purpose, but if you need a quick response to a request, this isn't a good option. Setting up form sending to Telegram is very simple. First, you need to obtain a Telegram Bot API token and Telegram Chat ID from your Telegram account. Then, create a new form in the Site.pro builder, click the "Submit form to" property, and select "Telegram."


2022. Bitrix24 accelerated website loading



Fast loading of content is a crucial aspect of any website, as visitors of your business site or landing page don't want to waste time waiting. Bitrix24 has added a new Boost feature that ensures fast loading even on sites containing large, high-resolution images and data. When this option is enabled, scripts load gradually: text is loaded and displayed first, followed by other elements. This allows users to immediately see the text content, begin reading the information, and see other loaded elements a few seconds later. Images also load gradually as the user scrolls up and down the page.

2017. WordPress app for Android has been improved for Jetpack-based sites.



Automattic has released a major update to its WordPress mobile app for Android, which allows to manage website from smartphone. Last year, app users faced a growing gap between the features available to self-hosted sites and those available on WordPress.com paid service. The lack of a WP REST API in the app's core prevented them from using the same site management features that WordPress.com site owners already enjoy. The upcoming release closes this gap with improved support for Jetpack-based sites. Jetpack is a universal WordPress plugin developed by Automattic to attract users of the open-source CMS to its paid service. Self-hosted WordPress site owners will now have access to user management and site settings features within the app. Completely redesigned network layer ensures faster performance of statistics and other features. The app also enables adding new blog posts and pages, commenting, moderating comments, replying to comments.


2015. Website builder Weebly launched business version



Weebly, one of the world's most popular website building services, has launched its enterprise version, Weebly for Enterprise, designed for large businesses with high security requirements and the need to manage multiple websites. It's based on the standard Weebly engine, making creating and editing websites, and updating content, extremely simple and convenient. Additionally, it offers a suite of enterprise tools for user administration, API access, and managing multiple websites. For example, the enterprise version allows administrators to restrict users from editing certain website sections or installing certain plugins. Users also have access to a library of website templates for various industries.


2014. Zoho Sites website builder is now completely free



Zoho Sites is a service that allows you to create a business website in a visual editor, without any knowledge of HTML. Typically, all such services have a free version, but it either doesn't allow you to host the site on your own domain, or inserts your own advertising line, or severely limits disk space. Zoho Sites had a similar version. But then Zoho decided to make the service completely free with no restrictions (fully unlimited). The only way they will make money is by selling additional modules, which are mainly designed for security and online stores. Zoho representative said that they (traditionally) don't spend money on advertising and PR, and such a free service will attract many customers not only to the website builder but also to other Zoho services.
