2021. Worksection adds weekend/vacation schedule



Worksection project management platform now features a schedule of weekends, vacations, and sick leave. This data helps calculate the efficiency of employee time expenditure over any period. You can set a standard work hour for an employee and immediately see how many hours they work per year, taking into account all holidays, weekends, vacations, and sick leave. In the People Report, the developers have added a pie chart for analyzing current efficiency next to each user, department, and team. Current efficiency is calculated as a percentage of entered time expenditure relative to the standard work hours for the previous period.


2016. Worksection adds smart notifications, time-tracker and hotkeys



The popular online project management service Worksection has rolled out a major update. In short, the notification system has been updated (it's now flexible), the ability to use @mention to notify specific employees has been added, hotkeys have been added for all key functions and pages, the ability to specify exact time in task due dates has been added, time tracking for days off and work hours has been added, and the recurring task system has been completely redesigned. The main interfaces have been redesigned: creating projects and tasks, inviting people to a team, task lists, menus, etc., and the ability to bulk add tasks with a hierarchy has been added.


2015. Worksection unveiled mobile app



Worksection, a popular collaboration and project management service, has released free mobile apps for iOS and Android. Now users can access their projects, tasks, files, notes, and contacts (colleagues) from their smartphones or tablets. Users can create new tasks, add comments, upload files, receive push notifications, and track their time using the time tracker. The app conveniently tracks the latest project changes using the activity feed. Key features can be used offline: project, task, and bookmark lists, people and contact lists, a notepad, and recent events.


2013. Worksection has improved project tracking



Worksection, collaboration and project management service, has rolled out a new update with ton of likes and new features, the main one being the "Tasks / by People" page. It will be useful for managers who want to monitor their team's workload, quickly identify idle workers, see their urgent tasks, and reassign them if necessary (see screenshot). Clicking on any employee on this page opens their profile, which immediately shows how many tasks they have, how many tasks are approaching due dates, and how many are overdue (for convenience, each of the three digits is highlighted in a different color). The profile also shows whether the person is currently online and the date of their last activity in the system. The task list displays their priorities, the number of days overdue (for urgent tasks), and the number of days remaining (for those with due dates). Worksection also includes updates including the ability to view MP4 and FLV video files online and the ability to save filter settings on the following pages: Projects, Tasks, Time, Calendar, Gantt Chart, Files...
