2025. Montonio to allow payments processing in accordance with EU regulations



Estonian internet payment gateway service Montonio has partnered with ComplyPay (Denmark), a licensed EU payment institution designed to automate payouts and simplify regulatory compliance across Europe. This will enable Montonio to comply with PSD2 payment initiation requirements, manage DAC7 reporting obligations across multiple jurisdictions, manage payout flows and process multi-currency transfers. ComplyPay is specifically designed to simplify payouts and regulatory compliance for digital platforms. Together, the services now provide a comprehensive, integrated financial platform for platforms, from customer order placement to regulatory-compliant supplier settlements.


2024. Paysera Checkout adds Google Pay support



Online payment processing service Paysera Checkout has added support for Google Pay. Now, online stores that use the service can make the purchasing process easier and faster for their clients. Google Pay is a fast payment method that requires just one click. Furthermore, payments can be made from both mobile device and computer. Google Pay uses advanced encryption, tokenization and is PCI-compliant to ensure security. 2024. Online store builder Voog launched its own payment gateaway



Voog, an Estonian website and online store builder, has introduced Voog Pay, a payment gateaway that allows to accept payments via bank cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Voog Pay also simplifies repeat purchases for customers by automatically filling in payment information during checkout, which (according to the developers) increases conversion rates by 7%. To start selling through Voog Pay, you need to provide your company and bank account information. You can manage all payment settings, payouts and refunds in a convenient online dashboard. Payouts are made daily to your linked bank account. The fee is 2% + €0.30 per transaction.

2022. Revolut launched its online payment processing service - Revolut Pay.



British fintech service Revolut plans to compete with PayPal and Apple Pay in online acquiring. The company has launched Revolut Pay. Online store platforms Shopify and Prestashop, as well as major online gift sellers WH Smith and Funky Pigeon, have already signed up. Revolut Pay partners will receive funds within 24 hours, which is significantly faster than many competitors. Revolut will charge retailers a 1% commission. Purchases can be paid for with cards from any bank.
