Italian marketing platform Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) has acquired one of the most popular online chat services, Chatra. Chatra tracks website visitors in real time, using location and pageview data to send personalized messages. Thus, Brevo has assembled a full stack of marketing and CRM tools that enable customer engagement via email, SMS, instant messaging, online chat, website marketing automation, and other channels. Chatra will continue to operate as a standalone app, but will no longer release new features – they will be available only in Brevo Conversations.
