2019. Social media scanner YouScan adds virtual assistant Aina

In the near future, all leading SaaS services will likely get their own AI assistants that will learn from users and automate some human (intellectual) tasks. The social media monitoring service YouScan already has such an assistant – Aina. Although it can't yet speak or understand language, it independently monitors brand mention statistics on social media and, if there is a spike, it automatically identifies the main source of discussions, keywords, message type, and region, and sends the user a ready-made report. It also compares your brand mention activity with general trends and warns of stagnation. You can train Aina by clicking a button in its notifications – whether a message was helpful or not.

2018. New Channel Connection Options in YouScan: Google Maps and Other Improvements

The "Channels" feature in YouScan allows to monitor mentions based on "everything that appears on a specific page", rather than keywords. For example, this could be an influencer's page, a brand's official public page, a thematic group, or a specific geolocation. A number of new features have now been added to "Channels." If the link you want to add contains multiple possible channels, you can select which ones you want to connect. For example, you can choose to only include mentions of a certain Facebook account without monitoring posts from that account, or vice versa. You can determine the depth of historical data collection you want for each specific channel. When you add a channel, mentions from it for the last month are collected, but you can extend this period to up to a year or choose not to collect historical data. For some brands, the number of reviews on Google Maps can exceed the number of reviews on all other sources combined. We now have review monitoring enabled on Google Maps.
