2024. SuiteCRM updated plugin for Outlook

SalesAgility, the developer of the open-source CRM system SuiteCRM, has released an update to its Outlook plugin - SuiteCRM Outlook Plugin v4.2.1. This update addresses a number of key issues. This update addresses several important issues, including a bug that prevented some users from loading the plugin. The plugin costs $60 per user per year and supports Outlook versions from 2016 to Outlook 365 (both web and desktop). SuiteCRM Outlook Plugin adds a sidebar that allows you to view CRM data when receiving emails from customers, create contacts, leads, or accounts directly from an email, view, update, or create CRM records directly from your inbox, archive emails in one click, create quick notes for any CRM record in the sidebar, and switch between multiple email recipients.

2024. SuiteCRM added ability to display a sidebar with charts in one window

In SuiteCRM 8, popular open-source system based on PHP/MySQL, the ability to display an additional right-hand panel (sidebar) with charts is added. These charts allow for quick analysis of either the current record selection if the user is on the list page, or the current record if the user is viewing a specific record. These charts are called Quick Charts. The chart type, as well as the data preparation for it, can be defined in code.

2013. SuiteCRM - free alternative to SugarCRM

If you say that SugarCRM - is a free CRM itself and you'll be half right. Because there is a free version - SugarCRM Community Edition and paid version (or rather three paid versions: Pro, Enterprise, Ultimate). Compared with paid versions, the Community-edition lacks some important features, primarily - reports, mobile apps, user access control, integrations with Office and other applications. And it's natural that over time, having got on one of the most popular CRM in the world in their hands and large paying customers, the SugarCRM team devotes less and less attention to the free version. Now they spend free time creating inspiring videos in Salesforce style (like one above). Fortunately for us - business users, in this team were idealists who believe that software should be free after all. And they created SuiteCRM - a free open-source system, fully compatible with SugarCRM Pro 7.0. They say that it's easy to move to this system from SugarCRM Community Edition. Many languages are supported.
