2017. Google Keep joins G Suite, gets integration with Docs

Google Keep, a competitor to note-taking apps like Evernote and Microsoft’s OneNote, is now integrated into Google’s suite of applications aimed at businesses, G Suite. Besides, Google Keep is also now being integrated with Google Docs. That means you’ll be able to drag and drop notes from Keep into your work documents. This feature is available via the web only, and requires you first have Docs loaded and open in your browser. Then, you’ll access the Keep notepad from the Tools menu, which places your Keep notes into a sidebar within the Docs user interface. From there, you’ll be able to grab the notes, including images and checklists, and pull them right into your document. In addition, you’re able to search your Keep notes from Google Docs, as well as add a new note to Keep while you’re working in Docs.

If you manage a business or company department, then probably you have a lot of stuff to remember and use some reminder-app. For example, Google Calendar that sends you emails or sms, reminding that today is someone's birthday, or that you need to call a customer or pay for advertising. And if you use the online note-keeping app Google Keep, than you can use another type of reminder - "location-reminder" that pop ups on your phone when you come to a certain place. For example, you can set reminder not to forget to send an email when you get to your office, or buy the printer paper when you come to store, or to visit customer, when you come to London, etc. By the way, the classic (time-based) reminder is also now available in Google Keep.
