2017. ERP Compact - cloud-based ERP system for Georgia


Georgian company OneSoft has launched a cloud service based on its accounting system ERP Compact. This system for automating management accounting, control and analysis of business processes in small and medium-sized businesses is based on 1C, but localized for Georgian legislation and business specifics. It includes modules: procurement, warehouse, production, sales, distribution, CRM, director's monitor, e-commerce, and reports. There are integrations with the tax website RS.ge and the country's banks. The system is suitable for wholesale and retail enterprises, distributors, manufacturing, transport companies, HoReCa e-commerce, and construction companies. The cost of the service starts at 74 lari/month.


2017. SAP and Georgian Railways have completed the SAP S/4HANA implementation project



SAP and Georgian Railways announced the completion of the first SAP S/4HANA implementation project in the railway industry in the post-Soviet space. The new system will enable the company to quickly make strategic decisions and flexibly manage organizational processes. Currently, the system has 500 users. To create a unified system, the company implemented a suite of solutions based on SAP S/4HANA, a new generation of in-memory ERP systems. Automation covered a wide range of core and support business processes: management accounting, repair and technical support processes, and personnel management were optimized. Special emphasis was placed on budgeting, planning, and consolidation solutions.

2015. SAP to open office in Georgia



Georgian Economy Minister Dimitri Kumsishvili met with SAP representatives at the World Economic Forum and agreed to open a company office in Tbilisi. "Opening an SAP representative office in Georgia will be beneficial to both parties," Kumsishvili said, implying that the deal will significantly improve the business environment in Georgia. SAP has more than 293,500 customers in 190 countries. The company employs 74,400 people in offices in 130 countries, and its annual revenue (IFRS) is approximately €17.56 billion (46 billion lari). The company is listed on global stock exchanges, including the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and the New York Stock Exchange.


2011. Georgian energy company Telasi has implemented SAP

At Telasi, SAP Ukraine specialists implemented an Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) - an integrated IT system for managing an enterprise's internal and external resources. The goal of implementing the ERP system was to facilitate information flow between all departments within the company. Built on a centralized SAP database, the ERP creates a standardized, unified information space for the company. The project standardized accounting and management processes, planning, procurement and sales of electricity, financial management, and more. Implementation of this solution will lead to the following specific results: increased investment attractiveness; increased transparency of business processes; improved cost control; improved financial discipline; and delegation of authority for the company's day-to-day financial and economic activities to lower management levels, leaving control tools in the hands of top managers.


2009. Ukrainian Soft-Rating Consult implemented SAP ERP for a Georgian company

Ukrainian company Soft-Rating Consult acted as a partner and consultant to the Georgian holding company Tegeta Motors in its first SAP ERP implementation project for a commercial company in Georgia. Olga Belyachenko, Consulting Director at Soft-Rating Consult, commented, "When deciding to participate in the project in Georgia, we recognized the implementation complexity due to the lack of a standard SAP solution for the country. However, thanks to our experienced staff, the project was completed successfully and on time. 2007. Georgian Armed Forces have implemented the SAP resource management system

Specialists from the Ukrainian Research Institute of Automated Computer Systems "Ecotech" (RIAS "Ecotech"), together with specialists from the project's lead contractor, the Georgian company "UGT," with the participation of SAP Ukraine, have completed the conceptual design phase for the implementation of the integrated SAP ERP enterprise resource planning system in the Georgian Armed Forces. According to Georgian Defense Minister David Kezerashvili, the project envisions the complete computerization of the management system, automation of logistics, financial processes, and human resources management. The prototype system being developed in the first phase covers all key logistics processes. The Ministry of Defense (MoD) has decided to use the application integration platform of the German company SAP AG, which has been adopted as the standard for the development of automated management systems for the military departments of NATO member countries.


2006. Coca-Cola Georgia has chosen the IFS Applications system for business management

IFS and Transat Corporation announced the signing of a contract with Coca-Cola Georgia for the supply and implementation of the IFS Applications integrated business management system. IFS is an international corporation developing and implementing enterprise resource planning (ERP) and asset management (EAM) solutions. Transat Corporation is IFS's partner in the Caucasus. The signed contract covers the supply of IFS Applications licenses, implementation and maintenance services, and employee training. A localized version of IFS Applications for Georgia will be implemented. IFS Applications was selected for managing finances, production, logistics, equipment maintenance and repairs, payroll, document management, and PDAs.
