2015. Link released updated version of 1C:ERP for Armenia

Link, 1C partner in Armenia, has released an updated version 2.1 of the 1C:ERP Enterprise Management system, adapted for the Armenian market. The release of the new version is driven by user feedback regarding the system's functionality. Production functionality has been significantly enhanced. Using MES/APS system tools at the shop floor level allows for the creation of an optimal operational schedule for work centers using scenario modeling. The process of writing off costs for releases without orders has been automated, and a procedure for executing scheduled month-end closing operations has been implemented.
2010. SAP enters Armenian market

SAP, the world's largest manufacturer of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, announced its entry into the Armenian market. During a Yerevan business forum celebrating SAP's entry into the Armenian market, Vladislav Martynov, CEO of SAP CIS, and Ishkhan Kazinyan, Deputy CEO of SAP CIS, explained the company's decision by citing the dynamic growth of the IT sector and low labor productivity in the Armenian economy. They explained that SAP always enters a market at its infancy to convey the message of the benefits of business solutions for enterprises and the country as a whole, thereby helping to create that market. SAP doesn't adapt to the growth rate of a specific market; it creates it. Shirak Technologies became SAP's first premium partner in Armenia. Armenia became the sixth CIS country (after Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan) where SAP has decided to expand its business.
