Shopify has added an AI-powered store builder that lets create simple storefronts with a prompt. To use the tool, you enter a description of your desired store in natural language. The AI then generates a ready-made storefront, and the user can manually customize the store in the editor. You can also use the AI generator to create graphic elements (such as banners). Shopify has also updated Sidekick, its AI assistant for merchants, with voice chat and screen sharing capabilities. A new free template called "Horizon" includes built-in AI that helps merchants customize their designs.
