2023. NovaPay payment system comes to Moldova



Nova Poshta's NovaPay payment system has entered the Moldovan market. According to the press service, Moldova is NovaPay's first market outside of Ukraine. NovaPay provides Moldovan businesses and private clients with financial services previously unavailable on the market. Specifically, NovaPay became the first financial service in Moldova to introduce cash on delivery. Previously, customers in Moldova were required to pay in advance when purchasing goods online. Now, NovaPay makes it possible to receive and inspect the goods before paying. NovaPay will also handle the delivery of funds to the seller. The service is available commission-free at 19 Nova Poshta branches in Chisinau, Comrat, Bolti, Cahul, Edinet, and in any locality, with courier delivery.


2021. Moldovan processing service Paynet announced its own cards



Ukrainian processing center UKRCARD has signed a contract with payment service provider Paynet in Moldova. UKRCARD will provide its Moldovan partner with a full processing cycle. The company will issue and manage Paynet payment cards using the BCZ-CARD+ card back office. The UKRCARD API integration product will allow Paynet card balances to be withdrawn to an e-wallet. Paynet helps businesses accept online payments, and enables private clients to conveniently pay bills using an e-wallet.


2015. Yandex.Kassa to accept payments in Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Latvia



Russian online retailers can now accept online payments from customers in Armenia, Georgia, Moldova and Latvia using Yandex.Checkout, the payment solution from Yandex.Money. The new payment method will allow customers in these countries to pay for orders in cash at local terminals and bank branches. To pay for an online purchase, customers must provide a mobile phone number and email address, which will receive a text message containing a payment code. Customers simply enter the code at the terminal and deposit cash. They will then receive a payment confirmation email. Online stores can also set up other payment methods, such as e-wallets and bank cards.
