2022. iTechArt opens office in Georgia

Georgian startup OMOFOX has raised $700,000 from the European venture fund Presto Ventures and business angels. OMOFOX is creating a SaaS solution that automates logistics processes for manufacturing and retail organizations, including planning and monitoring vehicle deliveries. Georgian Economy Minister Dimitri Kumsishvili met with SAP representatives at the World Economic Forum and agreed to open a company office in Tbilisi. 2010. Georgia to Exempt IT Companies from Taxes

Georgian government intends to transform the country into a tax-free zone for IT companies. Georgian Prime Minister Nika Gilauri announced today that Georgia will be declared a tax-free zone for IT companies. This applies to both local and foreign developers. The goal of this move is to further develop IT in the country. The government also intends to ease the tax burden for foreign companies to open representative offices in Georgia, Gilauri added. A bill on incentives for IT companies is scheduled to be submitted to the Georgian Parliament today.
