2015. 1C:Accounting 8 for Azerbaijan released



1C has released 1C: Accounting 8 for Azerbaijan. The configuration is designed to automate accounting and tax accounting, including the preparation of mandatory (regulated) reporting in an organization. The program also provides solutions for all accounting tasks at the enterprise, including, for example, the issuance of primary documents, sales accounting, etc. The configuration includes a chart of accounts that complies with the Order of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On approval of the chart of accounts for accounting of the financial and economic activities of organizations and instructions for its application."


2010. Azerbaijani oil company SOCAR implemented SAP

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR) has completed the implementation of the automated accounting system SAP ERP at its central office. The following modules were implemented: SAP FI (financial accounting according to IFRS), SAP HR (human resource management), SAP MM (inventory management), SAP SD (sales management), SAP FSCM (cash flow management), SAP GRC (SAP solution for managing risks and compliance with external regulatory requirements). As a result of the implementation, the report preparation time was reduced to 20 days, the resulting reports made it possible to determine the required level and optimize inventory turnover. The payroll cycle was reduced to five days, the standardization of payroll processes led to significant cost savings, and an analysis and elimination of risks in the system was carried out. Payments have become transparent and controllable, with data automatically transferred to the bank via the interface.
