2022. MyChat for iPhone adds voice and video calls
Calls and video calls are now available in the MyChat app for iOS. As usual, everything is controlled by permissions; you can call from iPhone to Windows, Linux, Android, or a browser, and vice versa. Furthermore, the app can now be quickly installed without specifying the server address or your username/password, directly from the MyChat Client for Windows or from your server's web lobby by photographing the QR code. The new version also adds the ability to add a custom menu to the MyChat Client for Windows, selectively delete private conversation history, and send files from Telegram to MyChat. Furthermore, the developers have improved support for Asterisk servers.
2021. MyChat implemented Kanban access rights and Lite Manager integration
The new version of the LAN chat, MyChat 8.10, introduces flexible user permissions for projects. For example, you can grant access to adding tasks, comments, and editing project parameters for each specific project. You can create permission groups and user groups and link them together. Source code can also be pasted into the chat—a feature that software developers will appreciate. You can copy a piece of program code from your IDE and paste it into the chat. Furthermore, the developers have integrated Lite Manager, a system for remote administration and management of computers on a local network and over the internet. The feature also supports rendering QR codes and barcodes scanned by Android smartphones, and inserting code images and text into the chat.
2021. MyChat 8.8 gets call recording and SMS/Viber messaging
The new version of the corporate messenger MyChat 8.8 now features call recording. Calls are saved on a local server and can be quickly accessed and read. Integration with TurboSMS, a service for sending SMS and Viber messages, now allows you to send notifications to clients. The new version also features bulk permission group changes and the ability to link multiple Asterisk servers together, allowing calls between subscribers connected to different PBXs in different offices.
2018. MyChat 7.0 - interface redesign and screen sharing over the network
The new version of the local network chat server, MyChat 7.0, has received a complete redesign. The program features a flat interface "à la Windows 10," flat icons in a unified style, larger fonts, and simplifications for a more comfortable and simple user experience. Version 7.0 also introduces a cool new tool: "Screen Sharing." It functions like a regular voice call plus screen sharing of your desktop, similar to Skype. It works on both local networks and the internet, on Windows, Mac, and Linux. Access to this tool is flexibly configured through a system of user group permissions and restrictions on the server.
