03.09.25. SAP to invest €20B in Sovereign Cloud for Europe
SAP, a world-famous developer of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, has decided to invest heavily in the cloud business. It has officially announced the intention to invest over 20 billion euros in the so-called "Sovereign Cloud". This is SAP's initiative to develop European cloud services. The solution is primarily designed for global logistics and supply chain management systems.
