2007. Tadiran Telecom has implemented an ambulance call center in Riga

Israeli company Tadiran Telecom, in close collaboration with its Latvian partner Unistars Holding, successfully implemented a new technology model for the Riga Emergency Medical Care Center (RIMC). It is a fully redundant network system built on FlexiCom R (IPx) platforms and a centralized call recording system from Wygant Scientific Inc. Successful integration allows any emergency and rescue service (fire department, police, etc.) to use this model to create their own unified, geographically distributed data and telephone communications network. The implemented system significantly streamlines the work of dispatchers and their interactions with emergency medical teams.
