2024. Ukrainian POS system Paykit comes to Lithuania



Ukrainian IT company CHM Software, the developer of the popular POS system Paykit, is entering the EU market, starting with Lithuania. The first EU partner is Čekis, a supplier of retail hardware and software. This partnership has given Paykit access to thousands of potential customers, while Lithuanian entrepreneurs have got the opportunity to upgrade to modern cash register software. This partnership model, which includes product adaptation for the local market and ongoing support, could become Paykit's strategy in other European and international markets. CHM Software is currently negotiating with partners in Latvia, Poland, Spain, Romania, Moldova and Kazakhstan.


2024. Paysera enters the POS market


Fintech company Paysera has acquired Lithuanian startup MB Brand Lions, which produces POS cash registers for restaurants and retail, as well as a virtual POS terminal service virtualikasa.lt. "Until now, in the Baltics, we have primarily focused on processing e-commerce payments. However, this deal opens up new opportunities for us in the retail sector, including the HoReCa, various stores and service points. Essentially, it gives us access to any business that currently requires cash registers or where such a need will arise under the new regulations, as businesses fully transition to i.EKA-type point-of-sale solutions," said Marius Plančiūnas, CEO of Paysera.
