2024. Paysera enters the POS market


Fintech company Paysera has acquired Lithuanian startup MB Brand Lions, which produces POS cash registers for restaurants and retail, as well as a virtual POS terminal service virtualikasa.lt. "Until now, in the Baltics, we have primarily focused on processing e-commerce payments. However, this deal opens up new opportunities for us in the retail sector, including the HoReCa, various stores and service points. Essentially, it gives us access to any business that currently requires cash registers or where such a need will arise under the new regulations, as businesses fully transition to i.EKA-type point-of-sale solutions," said Marius Plančiūnas, CEO of Paysera.


2016. Restaurant automation service iiko launched in Latvia

2007. UCS Baltic to implement r_keeper in KFC and Pizza Hut restaurants in Lithuania.



The contract has been signed for the installation of the R-Keeper system in KFC and Pizza Hut restaurants in Lithuania. R-Keeper has already been installed in Pizza Hut and KFC chains in Russia, Bulgaria and Romania, where UCS has implemented 8, 17 and 20 installations, respectively. In Lithuania, Fast Foods, which operates the aforementioned restaurants, plans to rapidly expand its restaurant network over the next few years and therefore requires improved business management. UCS Baltic, the official R-Keeper distributor in the Baltics, will automate the restaurants. By complementing its system with its own integrated ordering and payment solution, YZY QR Order, the company aims to become an IT market leader in the food service industry.
