2023. Restaurant automation service iiko moves headquarter to Armenia



iiko, the popular restaurant software developer, has launched a website for Armenia and begun actively operating in the local market, with the support of the TST integrator. The service's founder, Yerevan native David Yan, is a well-known IT entrepreneur. In particular, he founded the renowned company ABBYY. He currently lives in the USA. iiko is a convenient and reliable restaurant automation system used by a wide variety of establishments: from tiny bars and coffee shops to large restaurant chains, from food court cafes to fine dining restaurants, from delivery services to gastromarkets. Cash register, warehouse, staff, guests, kitchen, finances, reporting, and marketing – all in a single system. The service starts at 24,000 AMD per month.


2023. Mer Soft offers a restaurant management system for Armenia



Armenian company Mer Soft offers an automated restaurant business management system. It can be installed on both a waiter's electronic device and a desktop computer. When using the system, a received order is registered directly in the corresponding section of the program, recording the table number, the number of dishes ordered, their cost, and the total payment. The order then becomes available to the chef. In this case, forgetting, losing, or preparing the wrong dish becomes virtually impossible. Also, one table will not be served by multiple waiters, or a canceled order will not be prepared. The program, directly linked to the cash register, automatically prints a receipt, which includes all the necessary information, from the list of ordered dishes and their cost to the name of the waiter who served and the date.


2022. Restaurant app iiko in the EU rebranded as Syrve



Popular restaurant automation service iiko has created a separate independent company that will sell its software in the European market. The program will be called Syrve. The company's head office will be in London and the development center will be in Armenia, the birthplace of the service's founder, David Yan (also the founder of the famous company Abbyy). Incidentally, Abbyy withdrew its software products from the Russian software registry before the war in order to focus on the international market. By the end of the year, Ukrainian restaurants using iiko will be migrated to Syrve.

2017. Dinebook - app for reserving tables at restaurants in Yerevan



New Armenian startup, Dinebook, has launched a mobile app for reserving tables at restaurants and cafes in Yerevan. The app is available not only to users but also to restaurateurs. A number of Yerevan cafes, restaurants, and pizzerias already partner with the service. The app is convenient for those who prefer not to call and arrange reservations. Using Dinebook, you can find nearby establishments, learn all the necessary information about them before visiting, and check reviews from other customers, menus, and prices. The app lets you reserve a table for 9:30 AM to 11:00 PM and earn points that can be used later to pay your bill.
