2026. Nvidia unveiled an enterprise-grade OpenClaw alternative

Nvidia unveiled NemoClaw, an enterprise-grade AI agent platform built on OpenClaw, a popular open-source framework for creating and running AI agents locally on your own computer. This means it allows you to run OpenClaw-like agents on your employees' computers, but under centralized control and based on a local (or cloud-based, but managed) LLM model, including Nvidia's open NemoTron models. OpenClaw, developed by Peter Steinberger in early 2026, has become extremely popular. But after OpenAI acquired OpenClaw in February 2026, enterprises (as well as competing IT vendors) urgently needed an alternative.

2026. ServiceNow becomes a conduit for OpenAI and Antrophic in the Enterprise

ServiceNow, the developer of IT infrastructure management software, during one week signed partnerships with both major AI providers, OpenAI and Anthropic. This partnership involves embedding AI models into the ServiceNow platform for operations automation, specifically into ServiceNow Build Agent, an AI agent builder that allows developers to create agent-based workflows and develop applications. The company states that customers need the right model for the right task, and that each model has its own strengths. A look at the main page of ServiceNow's website now shows how the company is already positioning itself as a solution for embedding agent-based AI into workflows, ensuring their security, scalability and the ability to achieve measurable results.

2025. OpenAI unveiled a platform for creating AI agents – AgentKit

Until now, building and launching AI agents has been a jungle. Developers have struggled between dozens of incompatible SDKs, custom pipelines and manual integrations. Building a reliable agent meant weeks of coding, fixing orchestration bugs and constantly balancing speed and quality. Now, OpenAI has introduced the AgentKit. This isn't just an API or a visual interface. It's a complete infrastructure that allows you to develop, test and launch agent systems significantly faster. It includes three key components: Agent Builder, a visual designer for agent pipelines; Connector Registry, a connection and access management panel; and ChatKit, a set of tools for embedding chat interfaces directly into products.

2025. Notion now has its own AI agent

The note-taking service Notion has launched its first AI agent. The agent will use all of a user's pages and database as context to automatically generate notes, reports and analytical dashboards. The agent can create pages and databases and update them with new data. Users can customize the agent's "profile" page to tell it how to access sources, format output and when implement tasks and deliverables. The agent can also be used to process data from external platforms connected to the service. For example, you can ask the Notion agent to create an issue tracking dashboard from various sources, including Slack, email and Google Drive. The new agent is based on Notion AI, an existing content search and summary feature.

2025. DeepL launched AI Agent for Business

German translation service DeepL has decided to enter the AI agent market and compete with giants like OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude) and Microsoft (Copilot). DeepL Agent is a general-purpose AI agent (not for translation) for autonomously performing a wide range of business tasks. From creating and researching customer lists to translating and publishing website content, it is designed to optimize the routine and time-consuming work you do every day. The developers say that it does not just understand language, but can also reason, make decisions and perform tasks on its own. In fact, DeepL Agent is a computer-assisted user agent (CUA) that uses your computer just like you do. Following user instructions in natural language, it uses a virtual keyboard, browser and mouse to do the work for you. It's a powerful combination of intelligent autonomous operation with detailed control and safety.

2025. Google Workspace Gets AI Agents - Gems

Google Workspace now has its own AI agents called Gems (short for Gemini, because they run on the Gemini model). Each one can be customized to perform a specific task in Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, Slides and Gmail. For example, Google says, if you're a sales manager, you can "create a Gem that can help you find insights about a specific company, prospect or industry." Gems can be accessed in Workspace by clicking the "Ask a Gemini" button in the upper-right corner of a document. This will open a panel that contains both pre-loaded Gems and an option to "Create a Gem" (Google has a separate help document on how to do this).

2025. Salesforce to acquire cloud data management platform Informatica

Salesforce is acquiring cloud-based AI data management platform Informatica for $8 billion. The deal will help Salesforce expand its data management tools, gain greater control over how customers’ business data is managed and used and improve its ability to build AI agents. “Truly autonomous, trusted AI agents need the most contextual understanding possible, which means access to big amounts of data,” said Steve Fisher, president and chief technology officer of Salesforce. “Combining the advanced capabilities of the Informatica platform with our Agentforce platform delivers just that.” This deal with Informatica is Salesforce’s largest acquisition since its $28 billion buy-out of Slack in 2021.

2024. Salesforce Unveils AI Agent Platform to Replace Einstein

Salesforce announced the launch of a new no-code platform for developing and orchestrating AI agents called Agentforce. This platform will replace Salesforce's Einstein copypilot. Agents differ from copypilots in that they are designed for specific business tasks. Furthermore, they don't wait for a user request, but can be activated by various system events. Salesforce CEO Marc Benioff said that Salesforce intentionally abandoned the term "copilot" to avoid association with copypilots in competing Microsoft Dynamics 365. He compared Microsoft's copypilots to "Clipppy 2.0" (referring to the famous paperclip character from the old Word), hinting at inaccurate responses and the risk of data leaks.

2024. Microsoft Added 10 AI Agents to Dynamics 365

Microsoft Dynamics 365 has added a set of AI agents that can work autonomously in customer service or accounting operations. They will be available in the system from December to early 2025. Starting next month, you can also create your own AI agents in Copilot Studio. These agents draw on the context of your work data from Microsoft 365 Graph, Dataverse, and Fabric data management systems and can perform everything from customer support to employee onboarding, as well as act as a personal concierge for sales and service. As a reminder, Microsoft Copilot is powered by OpenAI's ChatGPT platform.

2024. SAP added AI agents

A year ago, SAP ERP introduced built-in AI chat assistant Joule. Now, the company is adding AI agents to work alongside it – highly specialized virtual experts (in HR, finance, procurement, marketing, etc.) that can autonomously perform specific tasks and even complex business processes consisting of several steps. And most importantly, they can interact with each other. These agents can work under the supervision of employees, but don't always require direct human intervention. For example, resolving a payment refund dispute, which typically involves forwarding messages between departments, correcting invoice errors, or analyzing payment rejections. Joule will soon be able to perform all of these tasks autonomously.
