ServiceTitan, a software developer for companies providing on-site service, founded in 2013 by Ara Mahdesyan and Vahe Kuzoyan, has raised $200 million in funding. The company's revenue is estimated at $9.5 billion. Over the past two years, ServiceTitan has doubled its key financial metrics. For any household issues, such as plumbing and drainage, electrical maintenance and repair, garage door service, and air conditioning, people in the US turn to specialized companies that dispatch the appropriate specialists to resolve the problem. Service Titan offers its online service to these companies, enabling them to provide high-quality service to their clients and easily manage their businesses.


2021. Jobber raises $60M for its platform for home service professionals



Jobber, which has built a platform for home services professionals, has picked up $60 million in funding. Jobber’s platform is focused around management software to help sole-traders and small home services businesses make appointments and organize their schedules, set up billing and manage their accounts, and market their services online. The funding round comes at a time when Jobber already has some 100,000 customers across 47 countries and 50 service segments, including cleaning, electrical repairs, landscaping, plumbing and more.

2020. Salesforce beefing up field service offering with AI



Salesforce is adding some AI enhancements to its field service offerings that take advantage of this capability. For starters, the company announced Dynamic Priority. Certainly humans are capable of prioritizing a list of repairs, but by letting the machine set priority based on factors like service agreement type or how critical the repair is, it can organize calls much faster, leaving dispatchers to handle other tasks. Also Salesforce also wants to give the customer the same capability they are used to getting in a rideshare app, where you can track the progress of the driver to your destination. Appointment Assistant, a new app, gives customers this ability, so they know when to expect the repair person to arrive.
